Internal Cost

Do you want to track the internal cost of an employees time spent on a record in Salesforce. You can with time Tracking. Internal (time) cost is a dollar amount assigned to a user which typically includes their salary, expenses, and other costs associated with them working for your organization.

Follow these steps:

Setup

On a users record in Salesforce set the dollar amount in the Internal Cost per Hour field.

Open

Reporting

Each Time Tracking Summary will take the Entered For users Internal Cost per Hour and times it by the Hours(As Number) to calculate the Internal Cost.

Open

You can now report on this field. As an example there is a report included in the package called Internal Costing by Account.
