Rate Cards
In Fostering’s Time Tracking app for Salesforce, it is simple to configure multiple Rates for different roles or tasks within your organization. This feature allows you bill clients at different hourly rates for different types of work.
To configure variable hourly rates in the Time Tracking app, you must first create Rate Cards that define the hourly rate for each type of work. This can be done through the Rate Cards tab in the Time Tracking app in Salesforce.
Once the Rate Cards have been set up, you can then create User Rate Cards for the Time Tracking users in your organization.
Each User must have one User Rate Card marked as their “Default Rate Card”.
In the Stopwatch, when the Start button is clicked, the user’s “default” Rate Card is automatically populated in the Time Tracking Summary’s Rate Card field. If the Rate Card field is included in the Stopwatch’s Close Modal, users have the option to change the Rate Card upon closing a time tracking.
